In this video, we walk through how to find the local website competition on the search engines. Then we find the traffic earners based on % of traffic per keyword, search volume, and search value based on cost per click values.
We export the competition keywords and store them in a project file where we can monitor how these keywords perform on the SERP including sitelinks, featured rich snippets, video, reviews and more.
Once we have our list of keywords we want to rank on the search engines for, or improve our rankings, we can then work on content and SEO practices to move our pages up for these terms.
